Where do you take your furry family member if you must leave home and you can’t take them with you? Next time, let them stay at our advanced boarding facility at Gulf Coast Veterinary Hospital! Our pet boarding area serves the Orange Beach and Foley areas of Alabama, and we are ready to care for your constant companion as well.
The modern pet boarding area at Gulf Coast Veterinary Hospital is complete with the latest comforts of home including air conditioning and heating and is kept immaculately clean by our trained kennel staff. Canines are walked twice daily, and our feline boarders are in a separate area away from the barking of dogs, which could cause them stress. Both dogs and cats are continually monitored to ensure their area is clean, and they have plenty of fresh food and water. All pets are shown TLC during their stay at Gulf Coast Veterinary Hospital.
For the safety of your pet companion, as well as others under our care, all boarders must be flea and tick free, as well as current on vaccinations. Our canine boarders must be up to date on vaccinations against rabies, bordetella (kennel cough), distemper, adenovirus, parainfluenza, parvovirus, and leptospirosis. Our feline friends must also be flea and tick free, and currently vaccinated against rabies, feline leukemia, rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleukopenia, and chlamydia. If your pet is not current with their inoculation schedule, or if you are unsure of their status, please contact us four weeks in advance of their anticipated stay, and schedule an appointment to have them properly immunized.
The next time you must travel or leave home without your precious pet, allow them to stay with the caring professionals at Gulf Coast Veterinary Hospital! Our spaces fill up quickly, especially during holiday seasons, so please call in advance to have the best opportunity to reserve a place for them.
